Alliance members can only answer once to other Alliance members' support requests.

Alliance Support screen shows a list of support requests that you have not answered yet,

so if you can't find the request on the list, it could be that you have already supported the member.

There's a limit to how much support you can receive, 

and the support limit will go up when you upgrade your Pirate Hall.
